Easter, in the Olden Days

Me and my sisters, Diana (looking very serious...) and Andrea. Massapequa, around 1968.
Me, and my brothers...Charlie, Jimmy and Gary...and some barnyard animals...awwwww, I loved that lamb!

Me, Kansas City Mo. My Mom made all of my dresses then...in fact, she made entire outfits for us...matching outfits, including coats. I have a sewing machine.......

Aahhhh, chicks. Kansas City, Mo. Me, Gary, Jimmy and Charlie. 1958

Me again....So? Looks like we went to the Beach on Easter Sunday!...Must be Robert Moses, we lived right down the road from the parkway then.

My cousin Laurie and I, Maspeth, NY. Somewhere around 1956?

My beautiful Mom, trying to make my stick straight hair curl...it was the in thing. :)

  2. Byootiful photos, Aunt B. That first one was taken around the first time I ever saw you at that assembly at the end of freshman year.

  3. Barb, somewhere in the photos you will find one of Jimmy and I in matching red shirts, as you said Mom used to make all, or most of our clothes, and she made those shirts too. The interesting part about those shirts is not that she made them, but that the cloth used was from Nazi flags that Dad had brought home from WWII in Germany. Great pics, they certainly bring back memories.
